Web effectiveness evaluation

Goal: Improve usability and sustainability of website
Project components: Reorganize major access pages, identify and operationalize collaboration applications (e.g. list management, document sharing, database management)
Outcome: Increased usage, transparency, accessibility and documentation of college processes
Participants: Web, IT, TLC, SOD, Graphics/Publications, IE Changes: Reorganize by strategic plan/institutional priorities, automate processes
Evaluation: Usability analysis, usage statistics, user surveys

Run ACC analysis (5 levels deep) 2. Review results, recommend course of action 3. Develop annual update process, recommend policy 4. ID resources for DE courses Next steps: Get ACC s/w (Anderson, Atkinson) by Oct 30 Run ACC analysis, summarize (Atkinson) by Nov 6 Meet w/ task force to discuss results, make recommendations to TSC for policy - Nov 9

Outcomes: identified current projects (redo of Admin Services" and "How to" guide for faculty) and future project list (see next steps)
Next steps: Create prototypes for student services and faculty/staff landing pages, create prototype for new president's office website, automate web archiving of "all LACC Users" emails, ask TSC to develop plan for web development;
Anticipated changes: Institutionalize web processes, identify owners of key information/content
