Institutional Effectiveness is the process of building systems that enable all operating units of the college to engage in sustainable, continuous processes of quality improvement. Effectiveness systems document the policies, procedures, goals and outcomes of the operational units, creating the information systems necessary to facilitate the data-driven assessment of the accomplishment of the college mission.
 
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness provides planning, research, analysis, design, development and project management services to faciliate continuous quality improvement.

 OIE Service Area Outcomes

 
1.   In support of student success and institutional effectiveness, the OIE will complete research/data requests in a timely and efficient manner to support and strengthen informed program, department, unit/division and college-related decision making.
2.   In support of student success and institutional effectiveness, faculty, staff and administrators requesting research/data will express satisfaction and usefulness of research/data request results.
    a.      Institutional Effectiveness, planning/processes - In support of student success, the OIE facilitates college-wide planning and enhancement of institutional processes to promote continuous quality improvement. 
   b.    Systematic Reports - In support of student success, the OIE develops and communicates reports and surveys in an effective and timely manner to meet external (federal, accreditation, state and local) mandates/requests and inform decision-making by district and college constituencies.
  •  External systematic Reports - (IPEDS, ARCC, NPSAS, Gainful Emp., Title IX, Common Data Set Survey, International Survey, Programmatic Accreditation, ACCJC Annual Report, Accreditation Self-Study Data) 
  • Internal systematic Reports - (EMT, Scheduling reports, Program review Data Set, AOC, HS)
    c. Ad Hoc Reports - In support of student success, the OIE provides information in an effective and timely manner to assess and improve the effectiveness of programs, services and projects; including grant development and assessment.
